SANTA CLARA, Calif., September 22nd, 2004 – Advanced Semiconductor Engineering Incorporated (ASE, TAIEX: 2311, NYSE: ASX), the world’s largest semiconductor packaging and testing company, has announced that it will be a platinum sponsor for the Fabless Semiconductor Association’s (FSA) 2004 FSA Suppliers Expo and Technical Conference. The event will be held from October 4-7, 2004 in San Jose and Santa Clara, with the exhibition taking place on October 6, 2004 at the San Jose McEnery Convention Center in San Jose.
