ASE Named Supplier of the Year by Zoran Corporation
Santa Clara, California, June 20, 2001 – Advanced Semiconductor Engineering (NYSE: ASX), one of the world?s largest semiconductor packaging and testing companies, today announced that it has been named the Supplier of the Year 2000 by Zoran Corporation (NASDAQ: ZRAN).
Zoran Corporation, a leading provider of digital solutions-on-a-chip in the growing multimedia and consumer electronics markets, awarded ASE with the highest score on its Year 2000 supplier performance rating. The evaluation is performed on six catego ries: quality system, quality performance, service, technical support, delivery and price.
