SUNNYVALE, Calif., Nov 10, 2023 – Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, Inc. (ASE), a member of ASE Technology Holding Co., Ltd. (NYSE: ASX, TAIEX: 3711), today announced it has been honored with an award at the 2023 Red Dot Design Awards in the category of ‘Brands & Communication Design’.  The winning entry is ASE’s 2023 brand image video, a collaborative effort with PwC Sustainability Services Company that was produced by Whitelight Motion. Through seamlessly blending technology and aesthetics, the video captivated global judges with its creative and compelling portrayal of the ASE brand.

Established in 1955, the Red Dot Design Awards stands as one of the world’s largest and most influential design competitions. It encompasses three categories: Product Design, Brands & Communication Design, and Design Concept.  The awards attract global nominees, with submissions spanning advertising agencies, designers, and corporations. The judging process evaluates entries based on design concepts, form, and impact.

Exploring themes of technology, nature, and humanity, the awarded ASE video takes audiences on a journey through the interplay of light in time, technology, and the environment. It highlights the foundational role of semiconductor technology not only in modern life but also at the forefront of scientific discovery. In parallel, the video embodies ASE’s mission to push technology boundaries and innovate relentlessly to help enable the transformative applications changing our world. From wearable devices and smart home solutions to intelligent transportation and high-performance computing systems, semiconductor chips play an indispensable role in society today. But it is the futuristic portrayal depicted in the video that helps amplify the role of ASE and solidifies its leadership position within the semiconductor ecosystem.
