ASE Chairman and Founder, Jason Chang Receives the 2017 Dale Carnegie Leadership Award
Kaohsiung, Taiwan, January 13, 2017 – Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, Inc (ASE, TAIEX: 2311, NYSE: ASX), the leading provider of semiconductor assembly and test services, today announced that Jason Chang has received the prestigious 2017 Dale Carnegie Leadership Award.
As Chairman and Founder of the ASE Group, Jason has grown the company from a humble factory in Kaohsiung to a global manufacturing service provider. His success was largely hinged on his firm belief in the potential of his employees and he was fully committed to communicate with, and motivate them. Today, ASE is not only the leader in semiconductor packaging and system manufacturing, but also an active industry role model in corporate sustainability. ASE has built and operated Taiwan’s highest quality water recycling plant, transitioned its existing and new buildings into green and eco-friendly work places, and are deeply involved in community and social programs. The Dale Carnegie Leadership Award was established in 1985 to recognize a company that places strong focus on developing human resources, innovation and organizational creativity. The award was presented to ASE at its Kaohsiung flagship campus by Joseph “Joe” K. Hart, Jr., President and CEO of Dale Carnegie, the worldwide leader in professional development, performance improvement, leadership training and employee engagement.
