Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital and ASE deliver the city’s most advanced Smart Mobile Clinic to serve the community
March 5th 2019, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. Executives from the Kaohsiung Veterans General Hospital (KVGH) and ASE got together today to commemorate the roll out of the ‘Smart Mobile Clinic’ vehicle. The mobile clinic on wheels was a joint initiative that was developed by KVGH and ASE in support of the Kaohsiung City government’s age-friendly and long term care policies.
The mobile clinic is custom built to offer primary care, and utilizes the latest healthcare technology to bring healthscreening and checkup facilities to the elderly and underprivileged who may not have the means to travel to clinics or hospitals for checkups. This is especially harder for people staying in rural areas.
The Smart Mobile Clinic is an important milestone in the development of smart medical advances using real-time, secure information and applying borderless medical care. ASE is proud to have played a significant part in collaboration with KVGH to leverage on technology and medical knowhow to benefit the local community.
