ASE honors Outstanding Recipients of its 2019 Supplier Awards

Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Apr 13, 2020. Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, Inc (ASE Group) a leading semiconductor assembly and test service provider, today announced the recipients of the 2019 Supplier Awards. As a leader in advanced semiconductor assembly and test technologies, ASE attributes a large part of its success to the excellent support from its supply partners. In recognition of their outstanding performance in 2019, ASE has selected a total of 24 companies to receive the ‘Sustainability Excellence Award’ (3), ‘Sustainability Partnership Award’ (6) and ‘Outstanding Supplier Award’ (15).

Due to the global COVID-19 pandemic, ASE has decided to cancel this year’s Annual Supplier Award ceremony to avoid mass gatherings. The event had been held annually as a platform for ASE and its suppliers to network and exchange information, as well as to honor suppliers that had demonstrated outstanding performance in categories such as technology, quality, cost, service and sustainability. These companies supply ASE with goods and services from assembly and test equipment, raw materials, components, engineering support services to various value-added services. To continue our annual award tradition, ASE will be presenting each recipient with a specially designed crystal trophy.

ASE is transforming the OSAT (outsourced semiconductor assembly and test) and semiconductor industry through technology and innovation, and through cultivating strategic supplier partnerships, to stay ahead of market trends. ASE will continue to drive sustainable development goals within the supply eco-system, through its carbon, circular, inclusive and collaborative framework to provide greater value to customers, raise global competitiveness and strengthen corporate sustainability.
