ASE Singapore ranked amongst the Top 150 Best Employers in Singapore
Singapore, Apr 22, 2020. ASE Singapore Pte Ltd, a subsidiary of the ASE Group (Advanced Semiconductor Engineering, Inc) was ranked number 85 on the list of ‘Singapore’s Best Employers 2020’. The list, compiled for the first time by The Straits Times and global market research firm, Statista, is based on an island-wide survey of more than 8,000 employees covering 25 industry sectors.
ASE Singapore employs over 700 employees and is a leading provider of advanced semiconductor testing and wafer level backend services. Its customer base includes notable Fortune Global 500 companies that design and manufacture leading edge products for a wide range of applications in mobile and smart computing, Internet-of-Things, automotive electronics, artificial intelligence, chip card and IC security solutions.
According to The Straits Times, more than 8,000 people responded to the online survey conducted in August and September of 2019, whittling down a long list of 1,800 companies with at least 200 employees and institutions across 25 industries. These companies were given a score based primarily on whether the staff would recommend the company to a friend or family member. The survey results also noted that workers in the technology sector rated their employers highly in areas such as having the same advancement opportunities for men and women, and having high standards of working conditions.
