Ecology and Environment Forum (Taiwan Environmental Education Dialogue, TEED)
The forum is organized by the Environmental Quality Protection Foundation (EQPF) and is sponsored by the ASE Cultural & Educational Foundation. Species of wild fauna and flora are far more vulnerable to climate and environmental changes than human beings. Today, Taiwan has 217 endangered and unique species that face extinction due to direct hunting and the destruction of their ecological habitats. Expert speakers at the forum introduced to the attendees the Ecology system in Taiwan that spans from the urban cities to the wetlands, from the mountains to the oceans, and discuss the policies, mechanism and public participation needed to sustain our cherished ecosystem and biodiversity.
