In order to satisfy the requirement of applications at 5G or next-generation communication, the mmWave antenna becomes an important part of systems. In this work, the stacked patch antenna is adopted in the 8-layer packaging with a thickness of 0.92 mm. The double-layer parasitic elements are proposed on the antenna in package (AiP) to achieve a broad band. This AiP operates in dual polarization and dual band which includes the low band from 24.2 GHz to 29.6 GHz and the high band from 36.6 GHz to 40.5 GHz.
